Anyone in Puget Sound area can join us... A couple of us are riding from
Federal Way to North Bend (Hwy 18 from approx I5 to N. Bend)
Look me up on Facebook (Mark Kanzler - profile picture looks like a 1920's aviator)
I know it's late notice, and coordinating will be a bit tricky (we are meeting
some people in Auburn and in N. Bend, and some of the group will be at Fife BMW in the morning). The schedule is still a little "iffy", which is why I didn't post this sooner... but we'll do our best to make things work.

I'd like to propose a rule change for next year - allow the safety checklist (Tire pressures, Fluid levels, Lights functioning) to count if done the day before the rally.
It's never good to rush such things, and if a rider is running late, he may have to skip
it in order to avoid making the rest of his/her group wait for him.

I know it could be done as a group, but that doesn't work if the group is assembling as it goes (I am being picked up along the way, and want to be ready when they get to my house)

Check the bonus list for what you can collect points for and how many points - and use your best judgement.

Hi Kevo, our RallyMaster;
Questions:
1. Will you give points for a tunnel, cut through a mountain, built in the 1960s ?
2. Will you give points for an all wood bridge - riding on planks - one-way at the time ?
3. Will you give points for an all wood bridge - riding on planks - both-ways at the time ?
4. Will you give points for a very old wood Church ?
5. Will you give points for a very old historical Cemetery ?
6. Will you give points for an abandoned wood farm house ?
An abandoned wood barn - different location ?
7. Will you give points for a historical monument - off the highway ?
8. Will you give points for riding through a First Nation Territory ?
9. Will you give points for a significant waterfall ?
10. Will you give points for an avalanche area - rock and snow ?

How many points ?

Thanks, LoboSolo (#153, Burnaby, (Vancouver area), BC, Canada).

I know where we are stopping on our quest - the 3rd largest covered bridge in the State of Indiana was rebuilt late last year after a tornado in 2003.

How fitting of a town for this rally - Moscow Indiana

I believe this Rally concept will change the way any and all organized rides or events of any kind will be held in the future. 70 years ago or 67 it matters not to me I just have a burning question. Seventy years ago in the year of 1941 The U.S.A was getting ready to be attacked and forced into war. Can anyone tell me who The Russians were making these Original Bikes for 70 years ago? It was my understanding that the old BMW plant was liberated from Germany In 1944 or 43. Have I missed the 70 year explanation? The Germans have been building them for longer did I miss the concept?.
See all ya'll on the dirt. scout
